Lifeline is a telephone emergency service that provides constant access to medical service for people who live alone. Our objective is to extend the time older adults, people with disabilities, or people with fragile health can live independently in their own homes.
By activating the portable Personal Help Button worn by the subscriber, the home communicator unit, attached to the telephone, notifies Lifeline Central that help is needed. Lifeline Central is manned by trained personnel 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When a call is received, Lifeline Central will attempt to contact the subscriber or will dispatch a responder to find out the nature of the problem.

Installation of Lifeline does not affect the normal operation of your telephone and does not increase the cost of your phone bill. The monthly rental charge for the Lifeline equipment is $30, and there is no installation charge at this time.
