Heather Bartlett, MD
Dr. Heather Bartlett provides congenital heart disease care and consultation at Aspirus Heart and Vascular. Dr. Bartlett is a UW Health cardiologist, board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. She leads the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program at UW Health, and with a multidisciplinary team, offers comprehensive care specifically tailored for adults with congenital heart defects. In addition to caring for adults and children with complex congenital heart disease, she has special interests in cardiac transplantation, connective tissue disorders and cardiovascular genetics.

Amy Peterson, MD
Dr. Peterson earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She completed her internship and residency at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and her pediatric cardiology fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Her special interests include lipid disorders in children, fetal diagnosis of congenital heart disease and transesophageal echocardiography to aid in diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart disease.

The Pediatric Cardiology Clinic is staffed by board-certified
Pediatric Cardiologists serving as Aspirus Heart & Vascular
consulting staff. They hold primary faculty appointments at the
University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and are on staff at the
American Family Children's Hospital in Madison. They bring expertise in
caring for infants and children with congenital heart defects,
arrhythmias, and acquired heart conditions.
We welcome referrals for evaluation in the Pediatric Preventive Cardiology Clinic (PPCC) if the patient:
As more patients with congenital heart disease have grown to adulthood, there have been significant advances in diagnosis and treatment for patients of all ages. Minimally invasive therapies, such as transcatheter valves and surgical innovations have significantly broadened patients’ treatment options.
Our multidisciplinary team welcomes the opportunity to work closely
with the patient’s primary provider to meet the medical, surgical,
obstetrical and social needs of the patient.
