Founded as a physician hospital organization (PHO) in 1998, and formerly known as Preferred Health Services, ANI represented initially one hospital and approximately 200 physicians. In August of 2004, we changed our name to Aspirus Network, Inc., to leverage the Aspirus brand name and to strengthen our recognition throughout north central Wisconsin. In May of 2015, we transformed into a physician led Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) to align for “future state” value-based payor contracting and for population health management by focusing on the Triple Aim objectives. Today we represent over 500 physicians, 8 Hospitals, 9 Ambulatory Surgery Centers and many ancillary healthcare professionals. Aspirus Network is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aspirus, Inc.

Payor credentialing is the process of assessing and validating the qualifications of a licensed provider to provide patient care under the accepted terms of Aspirus Network Payor contracts. As a benefit to our members, Aspirus Network holds delegated credentialing agreements with all of our contracted Payors.
