The Aspirus cardiac rehab program focuses on education, lifestyle change and exercise. Monitored exercise is a key part of the program and helps people slowly restore their strength and endurance levels.
Cardiac rehab at Aspirus offers an ideal environment to begin the recovery process and help participants learn about choosing a lifestyle that lowers health risks.

Cardiac Rehabilitation is a program designed to assist patients with cardiac problems achieve their goal of a healthier lifestyle. This includes a physician-prescribed exercise program, 3 times per week for 12 weeks.
Patients are monitored by a registered nurse trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Regular progress reports are sent to the patient's Cardiologist and/or Primary Care Physician.
