Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinics has joined a premier group of healthcare organizations that have received Pathway to Excellence® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Staff and leaders joined to celebrate the accomplishment on Thursday, October 26. The celebration marked the successful conclusion of a three-year process to successfully achieve the designation. According to the ANCC, Aspirus Medford is currently the only organization in Wisconsin to hold active Pathways Designation.

“The Pathway designation is a global credential that highlights Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinics commitment to creating a healthy work environment that empowers and engages nursing staff,” said Jessica Faude, MSN, RN-BC, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Aspirus Northwest Wisconsin Division. “Research shows that staff at Pathway facilities are more engaged, resulting in higher job satisfaction, reduced turnover, improved safety, and better patient outcomes.”
