SUBJECT: 90-Day Integration Transition – Key Dates & Information
We hope you are settling in and getting used to the new HR, payroll and basic IT tools. We’re glad you’re here. If you need assistance, please contact the HR One Stop support for your region.
The next phase of our transition journey will be integrating into Epic, Aspirus clinical applications and others, along with our network infrastructure.
Many of these changes will happen between now and December 1. You can expect the transition to continue throughout 2022. We will continue to keep you informed throughout the process and encourage you to read the Thursday Weekly Integration Update to stay up to date on key information.
Why are we doing this?
These changes are necessary to help us serve our patients and continue to move Aspirus forward together as a fully integrated organization. By transitioning to Aspirus shared applications and workflows, we will all benefit from:
- Improved patient safety, care and service.
- A consolidated patient record that allows for a seamless flow of patient information, no matter where care is provided in the system.
- Reduced redundancies, more efficiencies & long-term cost savings.
- Improved employee management and retention capabilities.

Epic training – required!
- Training and preparation have proven to be successful for Go-Lives. Help yourself and be ready!
- Classes start October 4. Numerous locations and times are available.
- Later this week Epic users will receive a notification from HealthStream, the Aspirus learning platform, to register for training sessions.
- Sign up ASAP to reserve your spot at a convenient location!
- Assigned classes are based on your role.
- We’re working to get your assignments to you as quickly as possible.
- If your assigned training in HealthStream does not align with your role, or you expected something different, please reach out to your manager/leader to validate.
- Managers can contact CI.Training@aspirus.org with any inconsistencies.
- You must complete training to use all Epic applications.
Support to help through the transition
- Technical training so you are prepared and ready to use Epic and other Aspirus applications.
- Training resources, like job aids, playgrounds to practice in and other tools, to help you along the way.
- Hands-on IT assistance adapting your workflows and other practices.
Technical Infrastructure Integration (network, phones, computers, printers, etc.)
- System integration is now underway at some locations while others will transition over time.
- Each location will receive advance notice during this phased roll-out.
- Expect to see Aspirus IT staff in-person getting everything set up and ready to go.
