Complete Updated Site Migration Event Schedule
Infrastructure Migration Program Updates:
The Aspirus Koller Behavioral Health site has been added to the Infrastructure Migration schedule and communications will be forthcoming for the Network and Wi-Fi, Telephone and Workstation migration events
Internet Connection Change on Wednesday, May 11 at 10PM CDT. During this event, all integrating sites will lose internet connectivity for a short duration, to allow the Network team to switch sites from the Ascension link to the Aspirus link.
At 10PM CST, individuals using the https://aspirus.cloud.com link to access Aspirus applications will lose internet connectivity for approximately 15 minutes. Other internet facing sites/applications will also be unavailable for a brief period. Those using https://nfuse.chchealth.net, or their PC has been migrated to Aspirus, will not be impacted by this change.
Reminder:
Once your workstation is migrated, users will log in using your Aspirus credentials and will access any remaining legacy Ascension apps through Citrix.
Workstation (PC) Migration Process:
- IT Team conducts walk-thru and rounding of units with local leadership to evaluate PC needs.
- List of exceptions to migrations is finalized.
- Local senior leader approves migration plan.
- Technical team migrates PC’s to Aspirus.
Important:
Make sure any files located on Ascension home drives are moved to Aspirus home drives prior to the workstation migration in your area. This means items should be in the O: or Y: drives while using Tablacus Explorer. You will not have access to any of the legacy drive locations once your workstation is migrated.
Once the plan is approved, workstations will be migrated in groups based on department/floor/etc., and while each group is being migrated those machines will not be available for use for approximately 60 minutes. Once a workstation is migrated, users will need to log into the computer and make sure that they can access their data and applications and identify if anything needs further remediation.
Once a device has been migrated, users will no longer log in to their devices using their Ascension credentials; instead, users will utilize their Aspirus credentials at the time of login. At this time, Aspirus IT will officially take over management and support of end user workstations.
Cattails:
Cattails will go away soon. Marshfield only agreed to allow read only access until they deliver all data to Ascension for archiving. Once that is complete, they intend to shut off access to Cattails. Once Ascension delivers Cattails data to Aspirus it will be imported into the Aspirus archiving system called Clearsense. The data will be viewable through Epic in October and a request process will be set up to ask for data prior to being able to view through Epic.
