Masking Guidelines
Aspirus has masking requirements in place across all clinical and non-clinical settings for all employees, regardless of vaccination status. Refer to the document below for additional details regarding masking and other guidelines for staff.

PPE & Emergency Policies, Procedures
Aspirus posts and updates all its emergency policies and procedures within the Coronavirus Information Center on the Aspirus intranet. . Look for the red banner located at the top of the intranet, then look for the “Policies, Procedures, Guidelines & Tools” page within the section.
An important emergency policy you should familiarize yourself with is the PPE & Patient Placement Policy. This document provides guidance for patient interactions and placement, personal protective equipment precautions, and other considerations for Aspirus employees to use for guidance during COVID-19 and emerging respiratory pathogens.
Attestation Process
Aspirus uses an online COVID-19 self-attestation form that should be submitted by any employee who:
- Has COVID-19 symptoms, regardless of vaccination status.
- Has a confirmed exposure to COVID-19 at work, regardless of symptoms or vaccination status.
If you have COVID-19 symptoms, you should complete the online attestation from home, contact your manager, and not report to work until receiving further direction from Aspirus Employee Health.
Prescription Refills at Retail Pharmacies
All employees at locations new to Aspirus can continue to fill their prescriptions at Ascension retail pharmacies in Rhinelander, Stevens Point, Wausau (Westwood) and Stanley. Those who have used these pharmacies in the past can continue doing so without a disruption in service or coverage.
