Aspirus announces hematologist and oncologist to cancer care team

Aspirus Regional Cancer Center is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Justin Asquith, MD, to their team of cancer treatment experts.
Dr. Asquith, a hematologist and oncologist, says, “Being diagnosed with cancer can be very scary, but we are in a time of rapidly-changing treatment options.” He continues, “I strive to provide a comprehensive approach to fighting this disease.”
Asquith earned his medical degree from St. Georges University, St. Georges, Grenada; completed his Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Residency at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, OH; and completed his Hematology & Oncology Fellowship at the Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, FL – the top cancer hospital in Florida according to U.S. News & World Report.
The cancer care team at the Aspirus Regional Cancer Center, situated in the center of the Aspirus campus in Wausau, works collaboratively for the entire spectrum of diagnoses.
In addition to seeing patients in Wausau at the Aspirus Regional Cancer Center, Asquith will also see patients in Wisconsin Rapids at the Aspirus Riverview Cancer Center. His special interests include immunotherapy, lung cancer, and colon cancer.
