Administrative Fellowship Program
The Administrative Fellowship Program is a dynamic leadership development experience which enables future healthcare leaders to expand their knowledge and leadership competencies. Through broad-based exposure to our integrated health network, candidates will receive formal mentorship with executive leaders and have the opportunity to lead unique and challenging meaning assignments. Our selection process aims to identify candidates from accredited Master’s-level programs who possess experience working with providers and/or healthcare leaders.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required upon hire.
- The ideal candidate will be in their final year of an accredited graduate program.
- Prior healthcare and leadership experience is preferred.

Professional Development
Objectives:
- Gain broad exposure at our fully-integrated health delivery network (Includes the Aspirus Health Plan and larger Aspirus Network).
- Participate in a wide range of self-directed activities and planned experiential curriculum focused on project-based critical thinking
- Act as a self-starter and demonstrate a willingness to take on new and challenging leadership roles, as well as non-leadership projects and deliverables
- Exhibit an understanding of healthcare administration, health industry trends, and an understanding of Aspirus’ organizational structure and mission, vision, and values

Fellow Responsibilities
- Lead projects that develop analytical, leadership, financial, and healthcare operations skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail, consistency, and meets multiple deadlines in a timely manner
- Work effectively both as part of a multi-disciplinary team and independently
- Provide data analysis and interpretation with will be used to drive organizational and leadership decisions
- Build effective health care management skills and the ability to work with administrative leaders, as well as physician and clinical leaders
- Develop additional aspects of the self-directed portion of the fellowship intended to strengthen preparedness for future operational assignments
