Nationally, hospitals are partnering with patients and their families to incorporate their perspectives in the planning, delivery and evaluation of health care.

Patient Advisors serve as representatives of the patients at Aspirus Medford Hospital & Clinics and help give direct input on policies, programs, and or practices that affect the care and services that they receive. They will partner with our healthcare team to help improve the quality, safety and healthcare experience for all patients and families at Aspirus.

Who can be an Advisor?

We are looking for patients or patient’s family members who have been treated at Aspirus Medford Hospital & Clinics within the last three years who are willing to give honest, constructive feedback in an effort to help improve healthcare services offered.

Qualities include: expressed interest in hospital or clinic improvement, comfortable with speaking in a group, able to use personal experiences constructively, able to see beyond own experiences for the benefit of others, concerned about more than one issue, able to listen and hear differing opinions.

Time Commitment

Anticipate a monthly meeting that lasts about one hour. Short-term projects may arise. Depending on the scope of the project, some meetings may last longer.
