Aspirus Divine Savior restores Urgent Care hours
New COVID-19 testing protocol also announced
In order to best meet the needs of the community, Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital & Clinics is restoring evening Urgent Care services. Beginning October 1, patients wishing to access the Urgent Care may do so using the Emergency entrance daily from 4-10:30 p.m.
The Respiratory Care Clinic also will no longer be open as of October 1. This temporary clinic was made available at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic to serve as an alternative site for the testing and screening of those with COVID-19 symptoms.
“Now that we have widespread availability of a highly effective vaccine, Aspirus Divine Savior is continuing to restore operations to meet all of our community’s health care needs,” said Dr. Daniel Gutmann, Aspirus Regional Medical Director. “Of course, we still have a robust set of precautions in place to keep our patients safe. This includes screening, personal protective equipment usage requirements for all patients, staff and visitors, and regular cleaning of the facility.”
Community members who need COVID-19 testing can make an appointment using the MyAspirus online portal (myaspirus.org) or mobile app, or by calling the Aspirus COVID-19 Call Center at 1-844-568-0701. After making an appointment, patients will arrive and park in the designated stalls in the parking lot between the Hospital Main Entrance and Clinic Entrance B, where an Aspirus care team member will come to their vehicle to perform the swab test.
