Aspirus Health Welcomes Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

STEVENS POINT, WI - Aspirus Stevens Point Clinic welcomes Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner Kristen Hoyord, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC.

Hoyord takes a special interest in preventative health, cardiac and pulmonary care, and chronic disease management. “Taking time to listen, connect with, and know my patients is my focus and the key to creating a collaborative relationship to improve their health,” said Hoyord.

A native of Iola, Hoyord earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center of Accreditation. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she was a registered nurse in intensive care, pulmonary medicine, and cardiology.  

In her free time, Hoyord enjoys being outdoors, reading, spending time with her husband and three children, and attending her children’s activities.
