Aspirus Health welcomes Margie Hale, regional chief nursing officer

Aspirus Health has named Margie Hale, MSN, MBA, BSN, RN, as regional chief nursing officer for the Upper Peninsula. Hale will be responsible for promoting growth, quality and safety within the nursing practice across Aspirus’ U.P. region as well as guiding nursing strategy and direction for all U.P. locations.

Hale brings more than 25 years of health care experience in nursing, surgery, operations and leadership. She comes to Aspirus from Baraga County Memorial Hospital (BCMH) where she served as chief executive officer (CEO) as well as chief nursing officer (CNO) and chief operations officer (COO) since 2012.

“We are thrilled to be gaining Margie’s vast knowledge and experience in nursing and leadership,” said Christine Harff, Aspirus U.P. regional president. “I know she will help us reach our goals and continue to provide the best care for those who choose us.”

Hale is a graduate of Iowa Central Community College with an associate degree in nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with an emphasis in nursing leadership in health care from Grand Canyon University.
