Aspirus Hosts Adult Diabetes Support Group in Wisconsin Rapids

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – For people with diabetes, the various diabetes medications available can be confusing.

“Diabetes Medications” is the topic for the fall Adult Diabetes Support Group meeting hosted by Aspirus Health. Aspirus Registered Dietitian Becki White and Aspirus Registered Nurse Gaynal Hofmeister will discuss the diabetes medications frequently used today to help lower blood glucose levels.

The meeting will be Wednesday, October 16, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in Aspirus Riverview Hospital’s Lower Level Conference Rooms B & C, 410 Dewey Street, Wisconsin Rapids.

Adults with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes or prediabetes are invited, as well as caregivers, family members, and support persons. Attendance is free, and no registration is needed.
