Aspirus Medford Nurse Practitioner Transitions to Family Medicine
Medford, WI – Aspirus Medford Clinic Nurse Practitioner Ashley Kleutsch, FNP-BC recently transferred from the Same Day Care department to Family Practice and is now accepting appointments for new adult and pediatric patients.
Kleutsch is a Medford native who joined the Same Day Care clinician team in Medford last spring after spending 10 years as a registered nurse working in intermediate and acute care. She was also a hospital based clinical educator and instructor.
“My goal as a nurse practitioner is to provide care that places the patient's health goals as the focus of care,” said Kleutsch. “I believe that empowering and educating patients on preventative care and understanding disease processes is essential for further healing.”
Kleutsch earned her Master of Science in Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner from Herzing University, Menomonee Falls. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and has special interest in functional and preventive medicine, nutrition, women’s health and pediatric health.
In her spare time, Kleutsch enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, cooking, gardening, canning and crafting.
