Aspirus Pediatrician Honored by Medical College of Wisconsin
Dr. Amy Falk Receives Marvin Wagner Preceptor Award
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Dr. Amy Falk, MD, a pediatrician with Aspirus Doctors Clinic, is being honored for her contributions to the education of future physicians.
The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) has named Dr. Falk a recipient of the Marvin Wagner Preceptor Award. The Wagner Award recognizes the important contributions and valuable service provided by volunteer preceptors and clinical faculty members in helping to educate MCW students, residents, and fellows.
“It is a bright spot in my day when I have medical students or residents,” said Dr. Falk. “I love being able to share my passion for pediatrics and help prepare learners for the time when they will be caring for children. There’s no better way for me to leave an impact than to inspire a student.”
Recipients of the Wagner Award demonstrate the same type of infectious enthusiasm, selfless dedication, effective teaching, and outstanding contributions that Dr. Marvin Wagner exemplified in his 50+ years as a clinical faculty member at MCW. Dr. Falk will receive her Wagner Award during the fall virtual MCW Convocation Ceremonies in September.
A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Falk earned her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago and completed her pediatrics residency at American Family Children’s Hospital at UW Hospital & Clinics in Madison.
