Aspirus St. Luke’s & Aspirus Lake View Celebrate Milestone
First Anniversary with Aspirus Health
Aspirus St. Luke’s (ASL) and Aspirus Lake View (ALV) proudly celebrate one year of affiliation with Wausau-based Aspirus Health, marking one year of growth, collaboration, and enhanced patient care.
Through this partnership, ASL and ALV have expanded services, improved care coordination, and strengthened clinical collaboration. Key achievements include:
- Expanded specialty services, including urogynecology and allergy
- Volume growth in inpatient and outpatient care
- Increased surgical volumes
- Standardization of technology, including the launch of the Epic electronic health record on April 1, 2025
“Our affiliation has allowed us to make significant improvements that directly benefit our patients and communities,” said Dr. Nick Van Deelen, Aspirus Health Minnesota Region President. “It’s been incredible to see the impact of our collaboration in just one year.”
“As we celebrate our one-year anniversary, it’s inspiring to see the progress we’ve made together,” said Aspirus Lake View President Greg Ruberg. “This partnership has strengthened patient care, expanded resources and created new opportunities for our staff and community. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient organization committed to delivering high-quality care for years to come.”
As part of the affiliation, Aspirus has committed to investing at least $300 million over eight years in strategic projects for the Minnesota Region. Additionally, plans are underway to introduce the Aspirus Health Plan in the area within the next few years.
