Navigating Your Cancer Journey with Aspirus’ NEST Program

Navigating a cancer diagnosis can be a difficult journey, but having the right support and resources can make a significant difference. Aspirus Cancer Care is proud to introduce NEST, a comprehensive program designed to empower patients through education, support, and guidance. NEST, which stands for Navigate, Educate, Support, Thrive, offers a series of support groups and educational classes tailored to help individuals navigate their cancer diagnosis and treatment journey.

Aspirus’ goal with the program is to create a supportive community where patients and caregivers can connect, learn, and thrive. The program aims to help participants understand their diagnosis, explore treatment options, and find practical tips to manage their condition effectively.

“We believe that education is an essential part of cancer care,” says Summer Verg, Survivorship Coordinator and Clinical Educator at Aspirus Cancer Care. “Our goal is to empower patients with knowledge and resources so they can make informed decisions about their health.”

Aspirus Cancer Center has scheduled a variety of seminars under the NEST program to address different aspects of cancer care. These sessions are designed to provide practical insights and strategies to help patients manage their condition and improve their quality of life.

NEST is more than a series of classes; it’s a commitment to support and empower patients throughout their cancer journey. From the initial diagnosis to navigating treatment options and beyond, Aspirus Cancer Care is dedicated to providing the resources and support needed for patients to thrive.

“Our mission is to be there for our patients every step of the way,” Verg says. “We want to ensure that they have access to the best possible care, information, and support. By offering these seminars, we hope to create a community where patients feel empowered and supported.”
