Aspirus expands appointments for sports-related injuries to Laurium

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital and Clinics are making appointments for sports-related injuries more flexible and convenient for patients. Effective January 8, 2020, Aspirus Sports Medicine Physician Dr. Colleen Dupuis will begin seeing patients at the Aspirus Laurium Clinic in Laurium on Wednesdays.

“Our providers are really great about asking patients for feedback on their care,” said Aspirus Clinic Manager Bailey Patrick. “Bringing sports medicine to Laurium was something our patients expressed a need for and we are really happy to accommodate that need.”

Dr. Dupuis, who joined Aspirus in May of 2019, and is based at the Aspirus Houghton Clinic in Houghton, is focused on helping people of all ages and activity levels live their lives as healthy and injury-free as possible.

“We are excited to offer this service to our patients and the community in Laurium because we understand everyone is busy in their day-to-day activities,” said Dr. Dupuis. “Taking care of our health is a top priority and that’s why we’re here to provide this excellent care for our patients when they need it most.”
