“Cookie Scholars” Sales are Back at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital

PORTAGE, WI – The Aspirus Divine Savior Volunteers are pleased to announce the return of their very popular “Cookie Scholars” cookie sales.

The sales will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on the second Thursday of every month in the main lobby of Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital, 2817 New Pinery Road in Portage. Cookies are $1 each or $12 for a “baker’s dozen” (13). Flavors vary each month.

Pre-orders are available up to one day prior to each sale. Order forms are available at the hospital’s main reception desk. Pre-orders may be paid for and picked up at the Divine Boutique gift shop in the hospital’s lobby.

All proceeds from the “Cookie Scholars” sales help fund scholarships for area high school seniors pursuing an education in a healthcare-related field. “Before the sales were suspended due to the pandemic, the Aspirus Divine Savior Volunteers provided a total of $6,000 per year in scholarships to area students,” said Linda Krueger, Volunteer Coordinator for Aspirus Divine Savior. “Our volunteers are hopeful that the cookie sales will enable them to resume or even surpass that level of generosity and support for our local youth.”
