At Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital - Diabetes & Nutrition, our certified diabetes educators are either registered nurses or registered dietitians. They can give you the knowledge you need to manage your diabetes today and throughout your lifetime.
Our program includes one-on-one or small-group education. Topics covered include the basics of diabetes, nutrition, exercise, medications, blood glucose monitoring, insulin pump therapy, intensive insulin management, avoiding complications and problem solving.

Our diabetes education services are covered by Medicare and private insurance plans. We can assist you in finding out whether your plan covers these services.
Nutrition Education
Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids registered dietitians are available by appointment to discuss your individual nutrition needs. To learn more about our nutrition services and educational programs, please call us.

Foot Checks & Toenail Services
Our foot checks and toenail services can help you put your best foot forward. These services are provided by our diabetes nurses and are available to anyone, including people who do not have diabetes. To schedule a 30-minute appointment, please call us.
