Community invited to tour new facility during Monday's open house celebration
The new 43,000 square-foot Aspirus Ironwood Clinic will officially open its doors to the community on Monday, Nov. 21. The new clinic brings easy access to multiple services and higher levels of comfort and privacy for residents of Ironwood and the surrounding area.
Aspirus Ironwood Clinic features 63 patient rooms, 29 provider offices, a large community meeting room, coffee and gift shop. Multiple services for patients include: family medicine, pediatrics, heart care, cancer care, general surgery, orthopedics, outpatient therapies, and psychology.
The new clinic is easy to access with expanded drive-up parking, covered drop-offs, and canopy entrances. The interior features a comfortable and spacious welcome area and a walk-in clinic. Large windows for natural light enhance the clinic’s healing environment.
Aspirus Ironwood Clinic is attached to Aspirus Ironwood Hospital, located at N10561 Grandview Lane in Ironwood. Construction began in November of 2015. Miron Construction Co., Inc. is the general contractor and HDR, Inc. is the architect.
On Monday, Nov. 14, the community is invited to an open house from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. to meet with clinic providers and staff, and tour the new facility. Prize raffles, snacks and light refreshments will be provided. A ribbon cutting ceremony takes place prior to the open house.
