All prenatal appointments will continue at Aspirus Medford Clinic.

Your prenatal care will continue locally at Aspirus Medford Clinic guided by a nurse navigator. Aspirus OB providers in Medford and Wausau will work collaboratively to provide seamless care to meet your prenatal care and delivery needs which will include a consultation with a member of the obstetric team at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Depending on your individual medical needs, if necessary, your prenatal team will decide when to transition your care.

At the Aspirus Wausau Hospital Birthing Center, you will have direct access to an in-house obstetrician, 24/7/365, ensuring there is physician support at all times. The Birthing Center is designed to help support the birth of your baby with comfort, safety, and peace of mind. The onsite Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) also assures your infant would have immediate intensive care if needed. Learn more.
